Join our team and worship the Lord.
Our goal as a worship ministry is to lead people into a genuine encounter with God. It's more than just singing or attending a weekly gathering we call “church". We are changed in His presence, so we sing with an awareness that He is with us, He is for us; and He desires to bless us, so we can be a blessing in this world! Centerpoint Music is excited to announce the release of our first worship album containing 10 original songs. It is available for purchase at the church office and at the information table on Sunday mornings.

Devotional Thoughts From Shelley
Isn't it amazing how impressed we are with shiny things, new things, attractive things? We are completely taken with a good presentation whether it's food, music, designer clothes, or people who are well educated or well spoken. It captures us, and somehow like children infatuated with someone they admire, we allow that thing or person to set a standard of life for us, something we must have or be or achieve in order for our lives to have meaning. That's the way the world works of course, but the Kingdom of God is entirely different.
The Bible says this about Jesus, "...There was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance, nothing to attract us to Him." (Isaiah 53:2) He was born in a barn. As an adult He was often found hanging out with the outcasts of society, the prostitutes and the tax collectors. Even the men He called as disciples weren't polished and shiny and perfect either. In fact, they were completely ordinary and uneducated, a bunch of nothing specials; but they possessed something that the religious experts of their time didn't. They had been with Jesus. "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus." (Acts 4:13)
I don’t know about you, but this gives me hope for my life. I love the fact that, “Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.” (1 Cor 1:27-29) God wants to use your life and mine just as we are, nothing polished, nothing spectacular, just ordinary people like you and me. It removes our excuses when we realize that all we have to do is surrender! “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)
Prayer: Father, thank You that You can do extraordinary things in and through my life. Help me surrender more of my heart, soul, mind, and strength to you today. Amen
